Chromatic - Floral Workshop with Vervain & Flowers by Karis

from £250.00

CHROMATIC

A floral Workshop with Vervain & Flowers by Karis

London, 20th & 21st of May, 2026

In Chromatic, we will focus on how to work with colour intentionally in floral design. You’ll learn how different tones interact, how saturation shifts the mood of an arrangement, and how to create balance or tension through colour choices. The aim is to move beyond familiar palettes and cultivate the confidence to let colour lead your work.

Each day features a carefully curated palette designed to challenge and provoke your creativity. Blending colours that complement each other with colours that conflict and contrast to explore how the unexpected can elevate a design. By embracing contrast as much as cohesion, you’ll learn how colour can transform not only the aesthetic, but the atmosphere of your work.

As designers, our voices are distinct, and the palettes reflect this duality. Day One celebrates the bold yet grounded tones that define Karis’s floral language, punctuated with an element of surprise. Day Two turns toward the softly nuanced hues that shape India’s aesthetic, layered with richness and depth to create balance and drama.

INVESTMENT:

TICKET PRICE - Single Day - £985

TICKET PRICE - Both Days - £1,970

To book your place on Chromatic, you are required to pay a £250 deposit per day booked. The remaining balance will be invoiced in early April.

WHEN & WHERE:

20th-21st May, 2026 10am-4pm - Parsons Green, London, England.

WHAT:

Two days designing with colour with two distinct floral designers. We will focus on specific colour palettes each day, created to push your knowledge & understanding of how to weave colour into floral design.

Day 1, we will work on bouquet design, as well as a statement vase design. After each piece, you will have time to capture your work.

In our morning session, Karis will demonstrate her signature bouquet design and then lead you in creating your own carefully considered bouquet designs. After a light lunch, India will demonstrate how she creates her statement vase design and then guide you as you create your own. After both sessions you will be encouraged to capture your pieces, with tips and encouragement from India and Karis.

Day 2, we will focus on designing centrepieces and tablescape styling, with a focus on photography and capturing your work.

In our morning session, both Karis and India will demonstrate their approaches to creating centrepieces, with a focus on building a styled tablescape. You will then be guided in creating your own centrepieces, one large and one smaller. After a light lunch, in the afternoon session, you will build on your designs by layering and styling them into a tablescape, each of you will have the opportunity to create your own tablescape. Karis will then demonstrate and discuss how to capture your work with a focus on how best to photograph the pieces you have created. Karis captures her work in digital and film formats, and has a unique approach to photography which she will share with each of you.

*Tickets can be purchased separately for each design day, but we invite you to attend both to get the most out of this experience*

Karis: Based in central California, Karis specialises in creating floral art with local, seasonal ingredients for weddings & events across the West coast and beyond. Her floral education is rooted in traditional artistry principles blended with her love of nature and what can be found outdoors during any given season.
